Felice Resnik

Felice Resnik, PhD, is an Institute of Education Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow investigating how to prevent social and behavioral problems among youth. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology (Human Development) from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Her program of research centers on the impact of influential relationships (peers, parents, teachers) during childhood and adolescence on psychological, social, and academic adjustment. One line of research she has pursued considers how adolescents’ peer relationships influence adjustment in both school and online contexts. A second line of research explores how family-based interventions can be utilized to promote development from early childhood through adolescence. She uses both person-in-context developmental models and a preventions science framework to better understand where and how to intervene to enhance well-being.
