Jorge Ramírez García is a senior research associate with the Prevention Science Institute. His research and applied work encompasses increasing the well-being of vulnerable populations with a focus on the recovery and community integration of adults diagnosed with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness and on the mental health of Latino youth and families. Ramirez Garcia works on projects to benefit these target populations largely through the dissemination of family behavioral interventions and through community-anchored initiatives to strengthen families and their ability to use community supports effectively.
