    The goal of this multi-site, longitudinal randomized controlled trial is to test the benefit of addressing parental stress prior to delivering behavioral parent training. Intervention efficacy, mediators, and moderators of child behavior problems in young children with developmental delays will be examined.

    This study is examining effects of early childhood interventions on children’s adaptive behavior, problem behavior, and family well-being among 200 families with preschool children with developmental delays or disabilities.
     
  • Oregon Parent Project (OPP) An RCT of Parent Training for Preschoolers with Delays

    This study is examining effects of early childhood interventions on children’s adaptive behavior, problem behavior, and family well-being among 200 families with preschool children with developmental delays or dis-abilities. Six assessments occur during a two-year period; half of the sample attend parent education classes based on a modified version of the Incredible Years parent training program.
