Lauren Cycyk, CCC-SLP, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Communication Disorders and Sciences. She studies sociocultural and environmental influences on early dual language development, culturally and linguistically responsive interventions that promote communication and academic outcomes of multilingual children from an early age, and issues of equity in service provision to multilingual children with or at risk for communication disabilities in early intervention and early childhood special education settings. She focuses primarily on children and families from Spanish-speaking, Latinx backgrounds.
